A titanium implant placed correctly can last a lifetime. But its lifespan depends on several factors: quality of available bone, daily hygiene, patient habits and regular check-ups.
Contrary to what many believe, it's not the implant that "wears out" over time, but the crown that covers it, usually needing replacement after 10–15 years. With good oral hygiene and annual check-ups, the implant itself can remain in place for decades without problems.
